Matt and the chatlee staff, I would like to say thank you for the wonderful customer service we received on our recent purchase of our 2019 sea hunt 25 gamefish! From the very beginning Matt was spot on with his professionalism and knowledge. Matt put up with a lot of questions and didnt hesitate to answer and return e-mails and phone calls. The entire staff made this purchase easy from beginning to end! We had a little issue with our trailer the first weekend but Jimmy in service was prompt and took care of setting up a tech from wesco to travel to my home and take care of the repairs. Jimmy went above in beyond in many ways to ensure great customer service. There is a reason you guys are the number one boat dealer in the Carolinas!. Every time i've walked thru your doors everyone has said hello and such a pleasure to be around; made me feel very welcomed. Hi Chris,I just wanted to express our gratitude for such prompt service and customer support. We rencently purchased a 218 DLV Carolina Skiff. Unfortunately, we took it to the beach to run it for the first time and discovered that none of the instrument gauge were working. I was able to get in touch with Jimmie, in the maintenance/tech department. He really went out of his way to try and help me check everyting that could be causing problems, over the phone. He was truly helpful and patient. The most impressive part was that he called me back later that evening to check on another idea he had to see if we could fix the problem over the phone. I was awat from the boat, at that time, so he said to call him back first thing in the morning and let him know the results. Surprisingly, he answered the phone the next morning and we discussed the outcome. The results, unfortunately, was to bring the boat back home with a return to Sanford for further review. For our troubles, Jimmie offered to send someone to get the boat in Raleigh for us since. I had to go out of town on business. The boat was picked-up, fixed, and promptly returned to us in just a few days. You just don't see this kind of service and support much anymore... I cannot say enough positive things about Jimmie or your service department. This has been our 2nd boat purchase from Chatlee and you all have only reconfirmed our decision.Jimmie's a great guy and a real asset to your company.Thanks again.

June 2013' I was there several times with my 1 year old daughter, Kaya, to see Matt in sales. He was very friendly, but professional in working with me to meet my boating needs.
It was very refreshing to see and feel grealt customer service again. Each time I entered the building; I was welc-,omed and asked if I needed help- | am a customer many different places, but rarely experience this high level of customer service.
Matt knew I wanted a black boat and was able to work out locating one that was damaged in but freight, still the boat I wanted. He was able to ensure me that the boat wall would be fixed at the 20 hour service' The paperwork to close the sale was quick and Jeff was very friendly as well. I also met several others that I cannot remember by name, but the theme was all the same: friendly, honest, and welcoming' By the time I got the boat horne, the trailer tire was flat, but someone from the service department came to my home in Durham and changed the tire (without a charge) in a tropical storm downpour' This does not happen to me mearly enough and I need it known how appreciated it is.
I have told all of my friends and crosswinds Boating center staff how I was blown away by the customer service I experienced at chatlee Marine and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to have their marine needs met.

It has taken awhile but I wanted to send an email after I had taken the boat on a good solid trial run. Unforunately, the winds in Key West were uncooperative up until last Saturday when my wife and I finnally go her on the water for a few hours of break in time.First, she's gorgeous. She arrived in perfect condition and was just as beautiful as the pictures. She started first turn of the key and all the accessories worked flawlessly. I broke her in for the first 3 hours in accordance with the manual and she handles like a dream.I've got my first fishing trip planned for this Saturday and if luck come my way, I'll send photos up your way to post to other perspective customer. I'm hoping for a 40+lb amber jack and maybe even a few tuna/mahi.Than you for taking the time to contact me personally when my original email got lost in the electronic world of spam. My wife and I could'nt be happier with the boat purchase and how professionally you all treated us.Andre Carnegie says that the definition of a good deal is when both parties walk away happy. You provided me with a positive experience. I brought my Carolina Skiff 198 DLV Elite in for warranty work on the deck lids. Due to an on-going problem with water in the fuel, I asked to check to see if any water had accumulated over the winter. Even tho the gas appeared to be fine, your service department went ahead and installed, at no cost to me, a non-vented fuel cap and fuel vent assuring me that rain water will no longer enter the gas tank. A very pleasant surprise that eliminated a significant concern that interfered with our enjoyment of the boat. Nice job and thank you!

Great service as always. I think the fellows name was Joel that waited on me. Joel is always very informative. While having the boat winterized this past Oct, I asked about adding on a water separator filter. Come to find out my boat already had one and I was not aware of it. Y'all were very honest with me. Some places may have charged me for putting one on and I would had never known. That means a lot. So when that day comes for a bigger boat, you can bet on where I will buy it! Its also worth the drive from Gastonia for service!!! I will not only recommend service but will recommend to my friends when they are purchasing a boat to see you all!!

I have purchased new boats from several different dealers in the past that were a little closer to where I live. The one issue I always ran into was that the dealer did not have all the people in place to perform any and all reparis needed in a timely manner. You far exceeded my expectations on gettting my boat motor serviced and also repairing the gelcoat blemishes in the time frame the service gentleman told me. Your gelcoat person did a great job on all of the blemishes and I am very satisfied. I generally do not like to bring my boats in to the dealer for general services because it just always took way to long to get it done. your guys did a great job and did it on time. That mean a lot and I plan on bringing it back for all future service work. Thanks

Your facilities and inventory are impressive, your staff is knowledgeable and courteous, and your prices are competitive. I appreciate how you go the extra mile to take care of the customer (a personal demo on pick up day, including things like the Coast Guard package and transom straps, etc.) You run a first class operation through and through. Though every staff member has been good to work with, two in particular stand out.I worked with Andy Kraft on the sales side of things. This guy is a tremendous asset to your company. Andy knows his stuff but is in no way arrogant, condescending, or pushy. I felt very at ease from the moment we met. Throughout the sales process, I was impressed by Andy's candor. At no time did I feel he was trying to sell me something I didn't really need. In fact, I felt Andy had my best interests at heart throughout the process. I have a business partner looking to buy a similar boat in a few years. I have already given him Andy's card for when that day arrives. When I am ready for a different boat in the future, my first call will be to Andy.I also worked with Jonathon Nowell for parts and accessories. I could not have asked for a nicer, more helpful, or more earnest individual. Another great asset to your company.Your service team is also top notch. When I dropped off my boat for the 20 hour engine service, the noted the tires were excessively worn on the trailer. They then took it upon themselves to weigh the boat and determined that a larger axle and tires were needed for the trailer because the weight exceeded the manufacturer's claim. They of course took care of this at no cost to me and the boat now tows like a feather, compared to the ton of bricks I towed to Florida and back for my kids spring break. Anyway, I would never have realized this and am grateful they had the foresight and initiative to identify and fix the problem.Thanks for running such a first class operation. Every time I visit Chatlee I am blown away at how good the service is.I recently brought my Sea Fox in for winter service. I requested your serice dept to make a few modifications to my boat. I have researched the market for three years looking for the perfect boat to fish and explore the rivers and creeks emptying into the Pamilico Sound near Belhaven, NC. I fish for drum, trout, rock and tarpon. I believe the Carolina Skiff 198 Elite is the perfect boat for inshore fishing on the North Carolina coast. I am very impressed with the quality, saftey, features, and design of this boat. I have a larger deep V boat which is a great boat, but difficult to use in shallow inshore water.I appreciated the help of all your TEAM! Chatlee exceeded my expectations. When I arrived the service staff came out, looked at my boat, and instead of waiting 2-3 weeks to get around to it, decided to knock out the work right then. They told me they thought the damage was a lot less than I did, and that if they were right they could fix it then and have me on my way. I pulled around to the service area, where a mechanic met me, checked my boat and repaired it on the spot. This saved me much time and money through my insurance company. Thank you very much. I will always do my boating business with Chatlee!

I was very pleased during my last visit because it idi not cost me any money! The service department representative took extra time with me to make sure there really was a problem. Due to his attention (and the attention of one of the techs out back) they discovered the issue, corrected it on the spot and sent me on my way....all in about 15 minutes....now thats how folks should be treated! I am sorry I cannot remeber their names. However, if all your employees are doing business this way, you will always have mine!

The service team at Chatlee has been performing all my service for the past 2 years on my boat and I have been very pleased with everything and every visit. I feel that the Chatlee team is fair and honest. I had an issue about 1 year ago with a dispute with an insurance claim and the team at Chatlee (Jimmy) stood behind me and kept the transaction honest and did not let the insurance adjuster stick me with undo charges and for this I am grateful. Again I would recommend this service team and dealership to anyone looking to buy a boat or have service work completed. Jimmy and Jason will be honest and fair regardless of what is required or needs to be done to your boat and they will stand behind their work and the customer.

I want to thank everyone at Chatlee from the Parts Department to the Management for the great service I received. I was very concerned when my tires were wearing badly with what I considered to be very few miles. After I responded to the survey with my disappointment I was informed the management had contacted the trailer manufacturere and they had agreed to exchange the tires. This type of service is very hard to find in today's world and I really appreciate the focus on quaility and customer service shown by Chatlee. What I really like was that the service department noticed my trim tab on engine was very bad and replaced instead of ignoring this issue or not bringing it up. This is the ytpe of service I like, replace and discuss later with the old part as evdence. A boat definitely is not something you can just drive to the shop when needed, so why not do it right the first time. That is what I like about Chatlee.Thanks again to Jimmy and the service department.
